How it works
- The agent greets the caller, stating that it is an AI and that the conversation is recorded.
- It asks the caller to explain their need, then works through your checklist: area, timeline, budget, decision-maker.
- It compares the answers against your qualification criteria.
- Qualified lead: transfer to the sales rep, or an appointment in their connected calendar.
- Lead to nurture or off-target: contact details captured and the reason summarised in the client area.
Industry by industry
- Estate agencies
For a seller, the agent notes the address, floor area, desired sale timeline and whether a valuation has already been done elsewhere; for a buyer, it notes the area sought and the financing situation they declare.
- Brokers
The agent gathers the type of project (main residence, buy-to-let investment, loan consolidation), the amount envisaged and the deposit stated, without ever commenting on whether the financing is feasible.
- Insurance
It identifies the risk to be covered, whether a home, a vehicle fleet or professional liability, as well as the renewal date of the current policy.
- Building tradespeople
The agent asks for the type of work, the town where the job is, the approximate floor area and the desired date; a job outside your service area is flagged as such in the record.
- Temp agencies
On the client-company side, the agent notes the position to fill, the number of people, the start date and the length of the assignment, so that the account manager can call back with a proposal.
- Removals
It collects the departure and arrival towns, the number of rooms, the floor, whether there is a lift and the target date: all details that will help you prepare your quote.
- Caterers
The agent notes the event date, the number of guests, the venue and the format envisaged (cocktail reception, buffet, seated meal); a request for a very imminent event can be transferred directly if you set it up that way.
- Landscapers
It distinguishes a regular maintenance contract from a garden design project, and asks for the size of the plot and whether the caller is a private individual, a business or a residential co-ownership.
- Travel agencies
The agent asks for the destination, dates, number of travellers and intended budget, then transfers sufficiently developed projects to your travel consultant.
- Accountants
It notes the legal structure, business activity, number of employees and financial year-end date, details that let the firm prepare a draft engagement letter.
What to set up
- Write your list of questions, in the order the agent should ask them.
- Define what makes a lead ready: area covered, minimum budget, timeline.
- Give the number of the sales rep to transfer to, or connect their calendar.
- Plan the reply for off-target requests.
- Provide an overview of your offers so the agent can answer initial questions.
What the agent does not do
The agent prices no quotes, does not negotiate and commits to no commercial terms. It does not judge the caller’s creditworthiness: it records what they state and applies your criteria. Nor does it give advice on a contract, an investment or financing.
Frequently asked questions
Can website visitors be qualified too?
The chat widget installed on your website draws on the same information as the voice agent: you can give it the same discovery questions.
Can the agent follow up a lead that did not convert?
A follow-up by outbound call is possible as part of an assisted setup, with a script you approve in advance.
Does the lead know they are talking to an AI?
Yes. The agent says so at the start of the call, in line with the EU AI Act, and also states that the conversation is recorded.
