Why this feature
A visitor hesitating over a pricing page or a contact form doesn’t always want to wait for an email reply. They ask their question the moment it comes up.
The Alyas chat answers at that moment, with your information, with no development on your side: the embed code is generated in your workspace, and the widget’s appearance is set in fields.
How it works
In your Alyas workspace, you open the chat agent, then the Integrations tab, and generate the embed code.
You customise the widget: display name, primary colour, welcome message and input field text. A live preview appears.
In the advanced settings, you adapt the brand identity: light or dark theme, colour of the assistant’s bubbles, logo, font, button on the left or right.
You enter the allowed domains, one per line, subdomains included.
You copy the code and paste it just before the </body> tag of your website: the bubble appears at the bottom of the page and opens when clicked.
What you control
The name shown at the top of the widget, “Assistant” if you leave it blank, and the welcome message.
The primary colour, in #RRGGBB format, and, in the advanced settings, the secondary colour of the assistant’s bubbles.
The light or dark theme, the font from a few families offered, and the button position, bottom right or bottom left.
The logo, given as the https:// address of a PNG, SVG or JPG image, shown in place of the default icon.
The allowed domains: if you enter them, the widget works only on your sites.
Widget activation: when disabled, it stops answering until it is re-enabled.
An advanced iframe integration, which shows the chat in a fixed frame where you choose, with no floating bubble.
Limits to know about
Worth knowing before you rely on it, stated plainly.
- If you enter no domain, any website can display your widget and use your agent: enter your own.
- Regenerating the code invalidates the old one: any site where it is already installed stops working until the code is updated.
- The logo is entered as an image address, not as a file to upload.
- The widget is for chat agents only, and the code must be installed only on your own sites.
- In your workspace, each chat visitor has their own conversation; only their last 300 messages are shown.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a developer to install the chat?
You just paste a code just before the </body> tag of your website. If you manage your site’s content yourself, it’s a copy and paste; otherwise, pass the code to whoever looks after it.
Can I see the result before installing it?
Yes. The preview shows the settings live, and you test the agent in your Alyas workspace before anything goes live.
Can the chat be restricted to my site?
Yes, with the list of allowed domains, subdomains included. If that list is empty, the widget works on any site: you should fill it in.
What happens to the request of a visitor who leaves their details?
If the visitor gives their need and a way to reach them, the request is saved in the leads list and you receive an email. The details are on the leads and human takeover page.
Can the chat book appointments?
Yes, if a Google Calendar or Cal.com calendar is connected and appointment booking is enabled on the agent. In chat, it is not offered to restaurant-type or PlayPro agents.
What happens if I disable the widget?
It stops answering until it is re-enabled. If you regenerate the code, the old one stops working on the sites where it was installed.
