Why this feature

A front-desk agent is only useful if it knows your business: your services, your opening hours, your address, the questions that come up again and again. Writing it all down before you have seen a single answer is the kind of job that gets put off.
Alyas reverses the order: the agent starts from what already exists, and you correct it afterwards. You judge a real answer, not an empty form.
How it works
You paste your website address, describe your business or upload PDF documents (up to 5 files, 25 MB maximum). Any one of these sources is enough.
You choose where the agent should answer: on the phone, or in the chat on your website.
Alyas reads the site, identifies who you are, what you offer, your opening hours, your address and your frequently asked questions, then suggests a role for the agent.
You review the profile prepared by the AI: what comes from your website, what comes from your text, and what is still missing, marked “To complete”. You give the agent a first name and create it.
You try it straight away: ask it a customer question, and the answer should be about your business. Just below, the chat code to paste into your website.
What you control
Every field of the profile, before and after creation: business, role, practical information, frequently asked questions. Everything stays editable afterwards.
The agent’s first name.
The starting channel: the phone, or your website chat, which you can test immediately.
The sources: your whole website and your documents are read after creation, and can then be added or removed from the knowledge base.
Your progress towards going live, tracked by a five-step checklist: create the agent, teach it the business, speak to it for the first time, make it reachable, serve a first customer.
Limits to know about
Worth knowing before you rely on it, stated plainly.
- Some websites can’t be read: protected, very slow, or a wrong address. Alyas tells you, the agent is created anyway, and you describe your business by hand.
- We don’t state a set-up time: it depends on the size of your website, and reading carries on in the background while you try the agent.
- The analysis is a first draft written by an AI: review the profile before creating the agent.
- For a voice agent, you still need to assign it a phone number from its settings: it answers once that number is linked. The chat can be tried without a number.
- Analyses can’t be run back to back without limit: after a few attempts in a row, the screen asks you to wait a few minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a website to create an agent?
No. One source is enough: a website address, a description of your business or PDF documents. Without a website, describe your services, opening hours, prices and the questions people ask you most often.
What happens if Alyas can’t read my website?
The screen tells you and invites you to fill in the information by hand. The website is still passed on to your agent, and you can try again later or describe your business from its settings.
Can I try the agent before linking a number or installing the chat?
Yes. The chat agent can be tested straight away in your Alyas workspace, without a phone number and without installing anything on your website.
Can I correct what Alyas understood?
Yes, before and after creation. The information it found can be edited, and anything the AI couldn’t find is flagged so that you can complete it.
How long does it take for the agent to be ready?
We don’t state a time: it depends mostly on the size of your website. While it is being read, you can already ask the agent questions, and its answers improve as the analysis progresses.
Which documents can I add?
PDF files only, up to 5, with a maximum of 25 MB. For any other format, paste the text into the description of your business.
