Emergency call-outs: only truly urgent calls wake you up at night.
At 3 am, every ring wakes the on-call technician, often for a request that could have waited until Monday. The Alyas agent answers for you, asks the questions you have set and transfers only genuinely urgent calls to the on-call number.
What the agent does for you
Filter night-time and weekend calls: real emergencies are transferred, everything else is logged with a summary.
Qualify each request against your criteria — type of problem, address, level of urgency — before any transfer.
Capture the contact details and reason for non-urgent requests, for a callback during working hours.
Keep a written record of the whole on-call shift: transcript and summary of every call in your client dashboard.

- The transcript and summary are available in your client dashboard as soon as the call ends.

Frequently asked questions
At 3 am, is the caller told that an AI is screening the on-call line?
Yes: the announcement of the AI and the recording comes first, before your on-call questions. If they ask for a technician, the agent follows your instructions: transfer to the configured on-call number, or a request logged for a callback as soon as you open. See also our guide to what the GDPR and the AI Act require.
Can the emergency criteria be tightened or relaxed depending on the season?
Yes, since the agent applies the criteria written in its instructions: you change them whenever you like, for example to treat a lack of heating as urgent during a freeze. Calls that do not meet these criteria are logged for the next day.
How do I stop the agent transferring to a technician who is no longer on call?
The agent has a single transfer number: update it at every handover, or point it to a single on-call mobile that is passed from hand to hand. The number your customers dial stays the same.
Can the agent tell a real emergency from a request that can wait?
It applies the criteria you give it: type of fault, the caller’s situation, time of day. Calls that match are transferred to the on-call number; the others are logged with a summary for a callback the next day.
