On a Saturday in July, the campsite reception is overflowing, but every call gets an answer.

On a Saturday in July, between two arrivals, the reception phone never stops: is there a basic pitch free, are dogs allowed, what are the pool opening times. The Alyas agent answers these calls using your campsite’s information and transfers to reception when needed.

What the agent does for you

  • Give information on accommodation — basic pitch, mobile home, chalet — based on the information you provide.

  • Answer the season’s recurring questions: pets, pool, arrival and departure times, on-site services.

  • Capture stay requests: dates, type of accommodation, number of people, contact details.

  • Transfer the call to reception during opening hours, and take over in the evening and on the busiest days.

Frequently asked questions

Do holidaymakers calling the campsite know an AI is answering?

The agent says so from the start, along with the fact that the call is recorded, before talking about mobile homes or pitches. If the family would rather speak to reception, the call is transferred to the configured number, or the request is noted for a callback. See also our guide to what the GDPR and the AI Act require.

A camper calls in the evening about a power cut on their pitch: what does the agent do?

It notes the pitch number, the problem and the contact details, then follows your instructions: transfer to the configured number, the night warden’s for example, or a report for the morning team. It does not guide any electrical handling.

The campsite closes in winter: can the agent keep answering?

Yes, as long as your calls are forwarded to it: out of season, it can announce your reopening dates and collect stay requests for the following summer, if you have included this in its information. Details of the monthly plans are on the Pricing page.

Can the agent tell callers whether a pitch is available?

It answers from the information you provide. For real-time availability managed in campsite software, a compatibility check is required; by default, the agent captures the request and your team confirms.
