Available soon. The Google Sheets integration cannot be used yet: what follows describes the intended use, with no date promised, and then what you can already do with Alyas.
Why connect Google Sheets to your agent
Google Sheets is Google's online spreadsheet: several people work on the same file at the same time and share it with a simple link. For a small organisation, it is sometimes the only tracking tool, with nothing to install.
A spreadsheet is also where people like to see the day's requests arrive: one row per contact, columns for the need and the channel. What remains is to avoid retyping, since copying each request by hand wastes time and lets mistakes slip in.
What the agent will do with Google Sheets
Available soon
- When the integration is delivered, we aim for the requests collected by the agent to be able to appear on a sheet of your choice, without copying.
- A sheet will also be able to serve as a simple source for information that changes often, such as a caterer's dishes of the day.
- The columns, the access rights and the direction of exchanges have not been settled: the exact scope will be announced at launch.
What already works today
- Needs left on your website chat are filed in Leads, with their contact details, channel and qualification.
- The CSV export opens in a spreadsheet, and Google Sheets can import that format: you get a tracking sheet in a few steps.
- An email reaches your inbox for each new request, so you know when to refresh your file.
- With Google Calendar connected, appointments booked by the agent land in your Google calendar, independently of any sheet.

Frequently asked questions
Does the agent already write to my Google Sheets spreadsheet?
No. No connection is live; you go through the CSV export from the Leads page.
Does an exported CSV file update itself?
No, it is a snapshot. To refresh it, export the list again.
Will I be able to share the sheet with my team?
Sharing is a matter for Google Sheets, not Alyas. As for the content that will be passed on later, it has not been settled.
Do I need to connect Google Calendar for this link to work?
They are two separate matters. Google Calendar is already used for appointments; the link with Google Sheets is still to come.
