Why connect WooCommerce to your agent
WooCommerce is a plugin that turns a WordPress site into an online shop: catalogue, basket and orders all live on your own site.
When the shop is hosted by you, nobody but you answers the visitors. An agent that knew the contents of the shop would act as a counter assistant, on hand while you are busy elsewhere, and free up your evenings.
What the agent will do with WooCommerce

- The intention is for the agent to draw on your WooCommerce shop to inform a visitor about what you sell.
- It would consult your information rather than answer from a text copied by hand.
- The extent of the connection, and what will be read or written through it, is not fixed; the exact scope will be set out at release.
- No date is promised.
What already works today
- You can set up the Alyas chat in your brand colours, adjust its name and welcome message, and restrict it to your authorised domains.
- The agent can learn from your website address, from PDFs or from free text: product pages, returns policy, lead times.
- Requests left by visitors are collected on the Leads page, with name, email, phone, need, channel and qualification, plus an email alert.
- The agent takes neither payments nor orders: it points the way, and the purchase is completed on your shop.

Frequently asked questions
Does the agent already know my WooCommerce products?
Not through a connection to the shop, which does not exist yet. It can, however, learn from your website address or from documents you give it.
Will it be able to place an order for my visitor?
That has not been announced. Today, the agent takes neither orders nor payments, and the scope of the future connection remains to be set out.
Do I need a particular WordPress site?
The conditions of the connection will be detailed at its release. There is nothing to prepare on the shop side for now.
How can I test the agent without touching my shop?
The chat can be tried before going live, from your Alyas workspace, without your visitors seeing it.
What happens if a question goes beyond its knowledge?
The conversation is marked “to take over” and you receive an email so you can answer it yourself.
