Available soon. The Shopify integration cannot be used yet: what follows describes the intended use, with no date promised, and then what you can already do with Alyas.
Why connect Shopify to your agent
Shopify is an online commerce platform where a merchant opens a shop, presents products with their variants, sorts them into collections, tracks stock and processes orders.
The same questions keep coming up: does this item come in another version, has my parcel shipped? An agent linked to the shop would answer from Shopify's own data, not from a page that never changes.
What the agent will do with Shopify
Available soon
- Read-only, in the chat on your website, the agent will search your shop for a product and say what it costs, which variants exist and whether any stock is left.
- It will also be able to list your collections.
- For an order already placed, it will say where it stands, using the order number and the email address the visitor gives it.
- The agent will not place an order on the visitor's behalf: the purchase will always be completed on your shop.
- Opening depends on the Alyas app going live on Shopify's side, and no date is promised.
What already works today
- The Alyas chat appears as a widget in your colours, with an adjustable name and welcome message, only on the domains you authorise.
- You can test the chat before putting it online.
- For it to know your delivery or returns terms, give it your website address, PDFs or text.
- When a chat visitor leaves what they need along with an email address or phone number, the request arrives on the Leads page and you receive an email; the list can be exported as a CSV file.
- The agent takes neither payments nor orders; if the visitor asks for a person, the conversation is marked “to take over” and an email alerts you.

Frequently asked questions
Will the agent be able to confirm an order for a visitor?
No. The planned scope is read-only: the agent provides information, but the visitor completes the purchase themselves on your shop.
When will this connection open?
No date has been announced. It will follow the Alyas app going live on Shopify's side, and the catalogue page will change status at that point.
What will the visitor need in order to track their order?
The order number and the email address used at purchase. The agent will use them to say where the parcel stands, without changing anything.
Will the agent be able to edit a product page or update my stock?
No, the planned access is for viewing only. Catalogue, prices and stock continue to be managed solely in Shopify.
Can I prepare the agent now?
Yes: create it from your website address, add your documents and test the chat. When the connection opens, everything else will already be in place.
